1.      Low progesterone
2.      High insulin.
3.      Adrenaline
Over-production of a single hormone, insulin is associated with many metabolic problems. Insulin is the number one hormone that creates fat, especially around the middle of the body. It is number one hormone that causes ‘Type 2 diabetes’ and in many physicians’ opinion, it is the hormone that participates ADD and ADHD. Low progesterone is almost always associated with the over – production of insulin.
ADHD starts out some way – too much insulin leading to a low sugar levels. But ADHD have another hormone disorder: Adrenaline. Brain cannot function without sugar, and the body’s amazing capacity pours out adrenaline to raise sugar level and the process is called Gluconeogenesis. Adrenaline, which is natural speed, causes these kids to be hyperactive. Most ADHD child often carries type A personalities (Workaholics) in their adulthood and are at risk for developing bipolar disorder. They frequently develop chemical dependencies on Alcohol, Cigarettes, Methamphetamine and some other addictions. Very often hormonal problems lead to depression. So, you are probably in a situation like this;

o            Sugar droops abnormally.
o            Adrenaline takes sugar from brain and you cannot focus.
o            You take sugar again and the insulin is double. A vicious cycle.
